LVIMA's second
introductory "Meet the Playas" mixer!
An "unprecedented" turnout for LVIMA....
Over 80
interactive marketers and a dozen sales professionals came
out for the 2nd (and final) mixer in our introductory
series. Panevino's was a great place for the event
with a great view of the strip in a classy setting.
Forbes.com
sponsored the mixer and gave everyone some additional
insight into their audience and focus on luxury and business
traveler online advertising. Spa treatments,
subscriptions, and fine dining were among the list of prizes
won during the evening... Thanks Joe!
Membership cards were
distributed to newcomers and used by current members to gain
access to the event. Please remember to bring them in
the future - they DO serve a purpose! =)
In addition, it
was announced that the first special event featuring
speakers in an educational setting would be sometime in May
revolving around "behavioral marketing". So enough
with the mixers, we're moving on to the real deal - stay
tuned!
The evening flowed with
conversation (and cocktails) while everyone had the chance
to catch up with each other after long weeks of hard work.
It was obvious - in the face of a challenged national
economy, Vegas isn't slowing down a bit. The dedicated
emerging media professional members of LVIMA are here to
stay, grow and bring Vegas to the "next-gen" level of
advertising.
